EXTREME WEATHER WARNING

The school is open and busses will be running on January 17.

The past 3 school days have been an extremely cold stretch, but the worst appears to be behind us and we are heading back towards normal winter days in Edmonton. I am encouraging parents to send students to school today to enable our teachers to get back on track and schedule.

Alhumdulillah, we were able to stay open and continue our bus service throughout a difficult week which saw temperatures and wind chills dip to -55C. I want to thank our bus drivers and maintenance crew for working extra hard to make this happen.

EIA Donates to Boyle Street Community Services

Posted on:

Today the grade 4 students delivered the collected school donations to Boyle Street Community Services (BSCS). The student representatives met BSCS staff and toured the main downtown facility. Along with the delivery, the students discovered the various services offered at Boyle Street. They toured the lunch serving area, social services offices, children visitation rooms, and the Pet Food Bank. The experience brought things in perspective for everyone. Poverty is a reality for many in Edmonton. Over 1001 pieces of winter essentials such as gloves, socks, hats, scarves and other clothing were delivered to BSCS.

Thank-you to everyone’s generosity. Your contributions will make a difference for the less fortunate by providing them with the element of hope. May Allah SWT bless everyone’s good deeds.
