The summer of 2015 brought forth yet another active initiative of the EIA High School students. A select number of students from Grades 10, 11 and 12 came together and organized the first annual EIA Summer Camp for students in Grades 3-5. This 5 day long program was focused on enhancing brotherhood and sisterhood values with various activities; ultimately designed to engage children in productive undertakings in order to increase cooperation at a young age and integrate leadership skills in order to benefit them in their later lives.

Starting every day off with Quran followed by activities such as puzzle solving, facts and hadith of the day, science experiments, tie-dye T-shirt making, sports, water fight and basket making, the children were able to utilize their skills in various areas while at the same time enjoy their stay in a communal, group-friendly setting. With the amazing feedback that we have received, we may potentially be looking forward to another fun and exciting summer camp next year, Insha’Allah.
