Annual Fees

Preschool Part-time for 3 and 4 year old $2,150.00 (8 payments = $268.75 monthly) Preschool Full-time 3 and 4 year old $4,300.00 (8 payments = $500.00 monthly) Kindergarten Part-time $2,100.00 (8 payments = $262.50 monthly), Kindergarten Full-time $4,200.00 (8 payments = $525.00 monthly), Grades 1 - 9 1st child $3,350.00 ($1,675 tax deductible) (Grade 1-9) 2nd child $3,150.00 ($1,575 tax deductible) 3rd , 4th,..child $2,850.00 ($1,425 tax deductible) Grades 10 -12 1st child $3,850.00 ($1,925.00 tax deductible) 2nd child $3,150.00 ($1,575 tax deductible).

  • Tuitions fees are non-refundable
  • Any Preschool to Gr 12 student who starts in September and stays after September 25th must pay the school fees in full
  • Any Preschool student that is coded to Alberta Education cannot be enrolled in two schools at the same time

Payment Options

Parents are encouraged to pay the tuition fees in full by September 30th of each academic year. However, tuition payments can be made in monthly installments (of cash, post-dated cheques, or electronic payment) of at least 1/8th of family’s full total tuition fee to be completed no later than April 30th of the current academic year.  AT LEAST HALF OF ALL TUITION MUST BE PAID BY DECEMBER 31st of each academic year. IF NOT, STUDENTS WILL BE REMOVED FROM CLASSROOMS. All NSF cheques will be charged the bank rate. After one NSF cheque, only cash or credit card payment will be accepted. All payment arrangements must be made before September 14th of each academic year in order to confirm the registration of your child(ren) at the Academy.

Capital Project Fee

All families with children at the Edmonton Islamic Academy must pay a $3,000 Capital Project Fee as a precondition for final acceptance. Families who have already donated this amount to the Islamic Academy Project will be exempt from this fee. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid at Al Rashid Mosque. The Capital Project Fee is to be paid only once per family.

Charitable Tax Receipts

As a faith based private school we are able to provide a charitable tax receipt for the religious portion of the tuition fees for Kindergarten through Grade 12. Junior Kindergarten fees qualify as child care expenses if both parents work outside the home.

  • Tax receipts for the current year will be issued only if all tuition fees have been paid in full prior to December 31st.
  • Tax receipts for fees completed after December 31st will be issued for the next year.
